Looks like Amway is in hot water across the pond. In the London Times Online, is an article featuring the latest debacle with the company in Britian. Amway is accused of merely selling a dream in lieu of the fact that an extremely narrow group is making any money. The cause of this? High prices and profit margins....imagine that. The article does a fantastic job breaking down the statistics.

Spoiled Brats

A) They're all spoiled brats.

D) I work for them, I'm a moron, or possibly both if I haven't figured out this answer yet.

Am I crazy or are my ears saturated with whines echoing from Quixtar headquarters? Gimme, gimme, gimme. Mine, mine, mine. They lose in court, but continue to violate court order by interfering with Team's business. This is comparable to repeatedly slapping your little sister even though your mother already told you to stop. They lose in court again, but file the same case in other courts, apparently hoping that they'll find a judge with his head buried in the sand. This is similar to asking dad for the car keys, and upon the big "no", immediately searching for mom to ask her the same thing. They continually look for someone else to blame although they are the geniuses who are shooting themselves in the foot....Amway name change, high prices, threatening emails, violated court orders, competing business allegations, "Just Go, Team"-we did, IBO's are property, suing 30 John Doe bloggers........bang! Comparable to the "she broke the lamp" accusation when "she" was sitting with mom the moment the crash sounded, and "he" was standing over the broken lamp with the deer-in-the-headlights stare and subsequent wet diaper. Waaaaaaaaah.

Looks to me like these sheep are voluntarily running from this pyramid in droves. I don't see anyone here telling them what do. This seems to be a popular phenomenon nowadays.

"You can't handle the truth! But heregoes.....The Quixtar/Amway Corporation is tired of doing 'what's right' for all the IBO's. We want to do what we want to do in order to stuff our pockets and live the 'high life.' Orrin and Chris don't have a competing business nor are they doing anything wrong. As a matter of fact, they have been the epitome of what our company could ask for in independent business owners. But technically they never were IBOs, but rather property, seeing as how we bound their hands and feet with all our colorful red tape. We were simply appalled by the fact that they had the nerve to stand up and ask US to change something. We really can't sue these bloggers, they are actually telling the truth about our company. WE ARE THE NEXT SUPER POWER. WE OWN THIS COUNTRY. What don't you guys get about this? There's no power in the IBOAI; we do what we want anyway. Bill of Rights.....patooee. We ARE the BILL OF RIGHTS. We call the shots. All our accusations are absurd. Our lawsuits, frivolous. We don't feel like scraping the egg off our face and we are simply embarrassed about our actions. This will NOT, however, cause us to make things right. Either you go down and go away, or we'll go down trying to make you go away. We don't care if we are wrong....it's our pride that we are preserving now. I've seen bigfoot and Santa Claus. Global warming is causing mass chaos. Evolution is real, and so are aliens. The Holocaust is a hoax and Hillary Clinton will be the next president of the United States. Sorry I had a quick lapse. Who are you? Who am I? Where are we? AAAAHHHHHH."

Lawsuit Crazy

Has anybody seen the absolutely absurd Quixtar lawsuit against 30 "John Doe" bloggers? It appears as if they are suing anything that moves, and possibly things that don't. If I were you, I'd think about hiring a lawyer for yourself, your family, and maybe even your pets. Good grief.

Is it just me, or does the usage of the term "property" and the dictatorial name change to Amway fly in the face of what America is built upon? Kind of makes me think that Abraham Lincoln wasted his time and that the Red Scare wasn't just a bunch of hype after all.
